Before you can master the shadow, you need to master the light.

The goal of the assignment is to represent objects by their shadow rather than by their shape. While it is relatively easy to understand the shadow of an object, it is much more difficult to identify an object from its shadow. The objective of this month's pact is to understand this particular feature of the light and to take advantage of it as much as we can.

A variety of shadows can be found in the world around us, but nothing should prevent us from creating new artificial shadows that better suits our needs.
In this assignment, we are no longer passive photographers who may only capture a particular aspect of the world, but we become active contributors to our own perception of the world.
